1. Who we are
Oracnx (“we”, “us”) is an iOS app for personal tarot ritual practice — laying out spreads, writing themes and readings, saving history, and participating in Circle, a community space for sharing rituals and reflections. This Privacy Policy explains what information is used when you use Oracnx.
2. Information we process
Depending on how you use the app, Oracnx may process:
- Ritual content you create — spread layouts, card selections, themes, reading notes, mood marks, history entries, and Circle posts you publish.
- Profile details you set — such as a display name used in notes and Circle.
- Media you choose to attach — optional scene photos, card photos, cover images, and optional voice notes for readings.
- Device preferences — settings such as review reminders, blocked authors, favorites, and local wallet balance for in-app Veil Coins.
- Purchase records — handled by Apple when you buy Veil Coin packs through In-App Purchase. We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Support messages — if you email us, we receive the content of that correspondence and any contact details you include.
3. Where information is stored
Much of your ritual content and preferences is stored on your device so you can continue your practice offline. Features that sync, back up, or share content with others (including Circle) may transmit the information needed to provide those features to our service infrastructure or to platforms operated by Apple.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your ritual notes to build advertising profiles.
4. Permissions on your device
Oracnx may ask for system permissions only when a feature needs them:
- Camera / Photos — to capture or choose optional scene photos, card photos, covers, and to save exported ritual images or PDFs you request.
- Microphone — only if you record an optional voice note for a reading.
- Notifications — only if you enable review reminders so Oracnx can gently nudge you back to a saved reading.
You can change or revoke these permissions in iOS Settings at any time. Doing so may limit related features.
5. Circle & community features
Circle lets you share rituals and browse posts from other readers. Content you publish may be visible to other Oracnx users according to the product’s sharing design. You can report posts and block authors using in-app tools. Reports and blocks help keep the community usable on your device and may be stored so we can review safety issues.
Please avoid posting sensitive personal data about yourself or others. You are responsible for the content you choose to share.
6. Purchases
Optional Veil Coins and related unlocks are sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment processing, receipts, and refunds are governed by Apple’s terms. We use purchase status to unlock features and adjust coin balances in the app.
7. Analytics & crash data
We may receive limited diagnostic or performance information from Apple (for example, crash reports you opt into sharing with developers) to keep Oracnx stable. We do not use third-party advertising trackers in the app.
8. Children
Oracnx is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Data retention & deletion
Content stored only on your device remains until you delete it in-app (for example, history items, posts, or Clear Local Data) or remove the app. Clearing local data resets on-device ritual records and preferences as described in the app. For content stored with our service or associated with purchases, we retain what is needed to operate the product, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
10. Your choices
- Edit or delete ritual notes, history, and Circle posts from within Oracnx where those controls are available.
- Turn off review reminders and revoke notification permission.
- Limit camera, photos, and microphone access in iOS Settings.
- Contact us to ask questions about this policy or a privacy request related to information we hold.
11. International users
If you use Oracnx from outside the region where our service is operated, your information may be processed in countries with different data-protection laws. We take steps appropriate to the nature of the data and the product’s design.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Oracnx evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
